Former Khana LGA Chief Security Officer Killed By Unknown Gunmen

The Rivers State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the alleged killing of a former Chief Security Officer of Khana Local Government Area, Mr. Letam Kinee, popularly known as Langa,who was reportedly shot dead by unidentified gunmen yesterday, 26th July 2026 in Bori headquarters of the local government Area.

The Command, reacting to reports circulating on social media, confirmed that the deceased's body has been deposited in a mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

According to the Police spokesperson in Rivers State, ASP Blessing Agabe, efforts are ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the sad incident.

She said investigation was already underway to ensure those behind the killing are identified and brought to justice.

ASP Agabe noted that the family of the deceased are yet to make a formal complaint to the Police, advised them to do so, as it would support ongoing investigations.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary for preservation and autopsy, while a full investigation has commenced to identify and bring those responsible to justice.

Although the family of the deceased has not yet lodged a formal complaint with the Police, they are strongly advised to do so, as this will aid ongoing investigations and facilitate the prompt administration of justice. 

The Rivers State Police Command remains committed to ensuring that all those connected with this incident are identified, arrested, and prosecuted in accordance with the law.

Pastor Dehumanizing Children In Rivers State Cools Off In Police Net

Missing Person: Rivers State Police Command declares Miss Joy Woke Wiro

A  statement by the Spokesperson for the Rivers state Police command,SP Grace Iringe-Koko disclosed that she is 17 year old,a native of Ibaa in Emohua Local Government Area of the State,fair in complexion and about 5ft tall, speaks English and Ikwerre languages.
