Disturbed by the shocking discovery of a new born baby abandoned in a refuse dump in Mile 3, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Rivers State Chapter, paid a visit to the Port Harcourt Children's Home, where the baby was reported to have been sent. This visit, according to NAWOJ, is to identify with the child, express her concern over the baby's well-being, support and assure the caregivers of her commitment towards the upbringing of the child.
