NYCN Rivers Chairman Others Arrested By Police

  By Awajis George  National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Rivers State chapter,has sent a save our soul message to Nigerians following the arrest of the chapter chairman Chijioke Ihunwo Chief Protocol Officer NYCN Rivers State chapter Mr. Ikechukwu Wordu, sent the message as the youth chairman and others were arrested. Rivers State House Of Assembly Set On Fire By Suspected Hoodlums

  By Awajis George  Report says Security Agents have taken over the Rivers State House of Assembly complex  following a fire outbreak at the chamber around 10pm on Sunday 29th October 2023. We gathered that the Federal fire service had earlier put off the fire . This is coming amidst rumors of an impending impeachment procedure against the state Governor Sim Fubara. It is unclear if the fire is connected with the rumoured power tussle between the former governor of the state Barrister Nyesom Wike and the present governor Sir Sim Fubara. Former Obolo Youth Leader Condemns Killing Of Uniport Student

   By Awajis George The Rivers State Police Command has paraded a woman who bathed her husband with hot oil in Etche local government Area.   Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi while parading the suspect at the command's headquarters in Port Harcourt noted that she will be charged to court after proper investigation. Hon Dumnamene Robinson Dekor, affirming the legitimacy of his mandate. The All Progressives Congress (APC)'s petition filed at the Tribunal by Mr. Eric Nwibani, against the election of Rt. Hon Dumnamene Robinson Dekor of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was dismissed by the Tribunal.  Also dismissed were two other petitions filed against Rt. Hon Dumunamene Robinson Dekor by Mr. Naaku Paul of the Accord Party and Mr. Friday Nke-ee of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). The Tribunal dismissed all the petitions filed by the All Progressives Congress, APC, Social Democratic Party, SDP, and Accord Party, solidifying the credibility and integrity of the electoral process.
