By Awajis Josiah-Chijindu The Rivers State Police Command has apprehended two suspects involved in a disturbing case of human trafficking in Port Harcourt. The arrested individuals are Daniel Onyegbulem, a 28-year-old male from Umuoye in Etche Local Government Area and Uzodinma Eze, popularly known as Thank-God, 33-year-old from Omanwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area. Commissioner of Police Olatunji Disu in a briefing at the Command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt said that on Monday, 22nd January 2024, officers from the C4i Intelligence Unit, conducted a routine stop and search operation along Igwuruta-Eneka Road. During the operation, they intercepted and questioned Daniel and Uzodinma, who were riding a commercial motorcycle from Chokocho, Etche, to Eneka. According to CP Disu, in the course of search, the officers made a shocking discovery as Daniel was found carrying a sack bag that contained a one-day-old baby.
