Police In Rivers State Neutralize Notorious Murderer Terrorizing East West Road

 By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  Operatives from the Rumuji Division of the Rivers State Police Command have neutralized a suspected notorious kidnapper and murderer, David Uzoma Kamalu, popularly known as M-Kaze. The operation was conducted on a suspected criminal hideout in Rumuodogu 1 Community, Emohua Local Government Area of the state. In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the operation was carried out after days of intensive intelligence gathering. During the operation, the Police operatives encountered fierce armed resistance from the gang members, leading to an exchange of gunfire.  In the ensuing engagement, M-Kaze was neutralized, while several other gang members escaped with varying degrees of bullet wounds. 19 Passengers Kidnapped Along Bille waterways Rescued By A Local Security Outfit

By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  A Local Security Outfit, the Royal Fouche Security Services Ltd., popularly known as the Amama Soldiers has rescued 19 passengers abducted while traveling to Bille along the Isaka River three weeks ago. According to report, the passengers were taken by sea pirates to an undisclosed location, where the kidnappers demanded a ransom of one hundred million naira. However, a breakthrough came when another victim, who had previously paid a ₦10 million ransom, alerted the Amanyanabo of the Source, Da Amakiri Tubo, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, Dabaye Amakiri I, who promptly mobilized his security outfit for a rescue operation. The operation led to the rescue of 19 out of 20 abducted passengers.   One of the victims, Corporal Salisu Ibrahim of the Nigerian Army, had earlier been taken away separately by the kidnappers and remains unaccounted for. Police Arrest Woman For Chopping Off Lover's Manhood In Port Harcourt

Fatal Accident Claim Lives In Rivers State

    By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the death of four persons who were knocked down by a vehicle, on Monday, 12th of May, 2025, along G.U. Ake Road, Eliozu Port Harcourt. According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Grace Iringe-Koko says One Benson Michael, 36 year old, who was the driver of the vehicle lost control and collided with six pedestrians. Four of the pedestrians were confirmed dead at the scene, while two others sustained injuries and were rushed to Rivers State University Teaching Hospital, RSUTH for medical attention. According to the statement, the driver of the vehicle has been arrested, while the corpses of the deceased have been deposited at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) Mortuary. The Command Spokesperson noted that the case will be transferred to the State Traffic Department for further investigation.
