 By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State Police Command has apprehended two suspects involved in child trafficking at Chokocho in Etche Local Government Area. In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer SP Grace Iringe-Koko, on January 24, 2025, operatives of the Command arrested two suspects, Ugochukwu Onyebuchi  and Ogechi Nmezi who allegedly conspired to defraud Juliet Blossom  and Esther Michael under the pretence of facilitating baby adoptions. According to the statement, the suspects had lured one Gift Chimanu, the mother of a two-month-old baby girl, Evidence Olomachukwu Chimanu, and Hope Onyebuchi, the mother of a one-year-old baby boy, Chukwuemeka Kingsley, into their scheme.  By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Police Command, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, has vowed to fish out the unknown gunmen who ambushed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Rivers State Cassava Project Limited, Mr. Gibson Reuben, an expatriate from the Netherlands causing his vehicle  to lose control and crash into the river.   CP Adepoju made the vow when he and his management team visited the scene of the incident at Aleto Eleme Bridge.
