Police Visits Physically Challenged Persons In Rivers State

   By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu    Operatives of the C4i Strike Force of the Rivers State Police Command have visited some physically challenged and handicapped children in Port Harcourt to commemorate the New Year.   In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Grace Iringe-koko, during the visit, the team spread joy, love, care and cheer by gifting the children with essential items like bags of rice, cartons of noodles, bottles of vegetable oil, toiletries among other items.   According to the statement, the commander of the unit,   CSP Julian Igbudu  noted that the empathetic visit and commitment to giving back to the community demonstrates the Commissioner of Police Rivers State, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, and his Management Team's dedication to serving and protecting the people of the State.   The Command called for collaborative efforts from all well-spirited groups and organizations to make meaningful difference in the li...

I Have Zero Tolerance For Corruption, Insecurity, CP Adepoju Boast As He Assumes Office

By: Awajis Josiah-Chijindu  The Rivers State new commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju has promised zero tolerance for corruption during his administration in the State. CP Adepoju made this known during his median briefing with Newsmen at the Command's headquarters in Port Harcourt. He also promised to be apolitical as the commissioner of Police in Rivers State. On the issue of Human Rights abuses, the commissioner of Police noted that he is going to ensure that no person's right in the State is abused. CP Adepoju stated that he will curb cultism, youth violence, intensify efforts against cult-related activities and partner with youth and civil society organizations to promote peace. He pledged to collaborate with communities, traditional institutions, and security agencies to proactively prevent crimes. AIG Mustapha Urges Rivers People To Support CP Adepoju To Succeed
